![]() I love getting lost in it again and again. + The world and environments are huge and grandiose and I LOVE it. + The game's gold and purple colours look very pretty + I like the creature designs and their names I really like these and are among my favourites It's got low points that do need improving, but I've seen worse writing before + The writing isn't the terrible cringe the internet says it is. Like Maelstrom looking fiery and enemies like the gold nightmares with their dispersive flashes + I like how lighting and the environments affect Frey's powers, it's a nice touch. The devs said they measured fire for accurate colours and it shows. The abilities look so good and add to their impact. I like the effects in like the upgrade menu and the abilities sound very impactful Mini soundtrack favourites: Vagabond Junoon I'm glad it's not generic hip hop or something, though. + Nice soundtrack but it does sound like baseline film music sometimes and I would've liked it to be more inventive, less constrained by film music conventions. It responds really well to the environment ![]() + Parkour is great and flows really well in exploration and combat, from bouncing off trees and enemies to climbing sheer cliffs. Cycling through all the abilities keeps it interesting (and flashy) + Excellent combat system that makes you feel really powerful and is so satisfying to engage with. I played with graphics maxed out, on hard mode, which got challenging at several parts. When you do, it's really fast and responsive. The game has a slow start and takes a few hours to get going. I've been playing since launch and enjoying it, even though I'm most likely not part of its targeted audience. Forspoken is an open world action adventure whose powerful combat, exploration, flowing parkour, boss fights and world more than make up for its flaws. ![]()
